Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Trieste, with a thesis titled “Study of multi-agent systems with reinforcement learning.”

During my Ph.D., we studied systems such as flocks of birds, schools of fish, etc., with multi-agent numerical simulations. We implemented reinforcement learning techniques to study individuals' optimal decision-making process, leading to their collective behavior such as flocking. In another work, we constructed an algorithm for a team of fictitious odor sensing robots to navigate and find odor source in a turbulent environment in almost the quickest time.

At present, I am interested in implementing machine learning techniques to understand the physics behind microfluidic systems.
